STEPHENVILLE - Tonight Tarleton returns home for the first time in two weeks and are set to face-off with Eastern New Mexico at 6 p.m., who have turned the season around since these teams met Jan. 4.

When Tarleton traveled to Portales, N.M. in January, the Zias were 3-8 with none of their wins coming against a team with a win percentage over .300 while Tarleton was riding a five-game win streak and quickly erasing all thoughts of their 2-5 start.

Also on the line for Tarleton that night was Tarleton head coach Ronnie Hearne's 1000th career win, which he accomplished with a 78-70 win at Greyhound Arena.

Since then, however, the Zias have put themselves into the picture for a spot in the Lone Star Conference Tournament by winning four of their last six, including wins over West Texas A&M and Angelo State.

Tarleton, after that January night in Portales, won their next nine games and are coming off a road win over the LSC's second-place team, Midwestern State.

The TexAnns are led in scoring by Shelby Adamson, but since conference play began in November, it has been her younger sister Peyton with the team's top scoring average at 15.1 points per game.

Kiara Wright is quickly turning into one of the conference's premier post players, boasting 13.2 points per game and 9.6 rebounds. In LSC games this season, Wright is just one of four players in the conference in the top 15 in scoring and top five in rebounds. She also leads the LSC in field goal percentage, in conference.

The sophomore post had a career night in Wichita Falls Monday with 18 rebounds, breaking her previous career high of 16 Nov. 30, 2010 against St. Edward's.
