SAN ANTONIO - The Tarleton women's golf team had a strong showing at the Lady Rattler Roundup Tuesday with sophomore newcomer Jessica Pickwick finishing first overall and the team finishing second.

The TexAnns came in second place with a score of 623, just a few strokes behind St. Edward's (618), the overall winner.

Pickwick was the No. 1 individual and shot a 150 over the two-day span.  Her score of 73 Tuesday was what put her in the drivers seat.

Jacqueline Lau shot a 154 and finished third, while Katy Ward shot a 157 and finished seventh.  Sharon Lau had a 162, good enough for 13th and Sarah Fulfer had a 171, good enough for 31st.

St. Edward's edged out Tarleton with four girls finishing in the top five.

Hawaii-Hilo, Angelo State and Western New Mexico rounded out the top five on the team standings.

The TexAnns will return to action next week and will have another shot at St. Edward's as it hosts the St. Edward's Invitational at the Grey Rock Golf Club in Austin.
