LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton rode a dominant first half to an 80-40 victory over Texas Wesleyan last Tuesday. In the first 15 minutes of the game, Tarleton held the Lady Rams to just four points as they built a 45-4 lead. Tarleton cruised to the victory with team-leading 13-point efforts from Kiara Wright and Raven McGrath.

SERIES HISTORY
This is the first ever meeting between Tarleton State and Arlington Baptist's women's basketball teams.

WIDE OPEN DECEMBER
Tarleton has just two scheduled games for the month of December, making it the fewest games in a single month for Tarleton since November 2002 when Tarleton played just two games under then-head coach Claude Cummings.

TARLETON IN DECEMBER UNDER HEARNE
Head coach Ronnie Hearne has 10 December months under his belt during his Tarleton tenure and is set to add No. 11 beginning Tuesday. Hearne's TexAnns are 41-15 since his first season in 2003, which is a .732 winning percentage in the Christmas month. Tarleton has also not lost a December game since a last second, half court 3-pointer gave Tarleton a 77-78 loss to Southeastern Oklahoma.

MCGRATH DELIVERS OFF THE BENCH
In Tarleton's last outing, Raven McGrath led the team with 13 points in 17 minutes off the bench - both were career highs for the sophomore guard from Grandview. McGrath was 4-8 shooting from the floor and 3-5 shooting from downtown en route to the career-high performance. Her 13 points also tied Kiara Wright for the team lead for the game, making it the first time since Cheyenne Berry scored 12 off the bench against Emporia State on March 9, 2012 that a TexAnn reserve player led the team in scoring for a game.

SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS
Arlington Baptist is in just its second year as a women's basketball program. The team started last season and posted a 24-9 record in its inaugural season under head coach Clifton McDaniel. This season, ABC is 3-2 having already played Lone Star Conference opponent, Angelo State. After falling 77-60 to ASU, the Patriots reeled off three straight wins before falling 68-58 in their latest outing in Houston to St. Thomas University.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns have just one more game in the month of December. They will host Cedarville (OH) on Tuesday Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. for their final game of the 2013 calendar year.
