Scouting the Aggies
Oklahoma Panhandle State heads into Stephenville reeling from a seven-game losing streak after falling 102-80 to Colorado Christian this past Saturday in Lakewood, Colo. The Aggies are on a 12-game losing streak dating back to last season. OPSU did win an exhibition game this season however, downing the Mexico All-Star team 108-52 back on Nov. 3.

The Aggies have four players averaging in double-figures and are led by Jeremy Newton and Bill Lee, Jr.'s 11.8 points per game. Trey Frankhouser leads the team on the boards with 12.0 rebounds per contest, while Tavien Rosemond leads the team with four blocks.

Zilijan Jones leads the team with 37 assists, but Krys Randolph is right behind him with 32 assists on the season.

The Aggies are shooting just 42.9 percent from the field this season and are allowing opposing teams to shoot 47.5 percent. OPSU is shooting 34.2 percent from downtown and 69.0 percent from the charity stripe.

Last Time out for Texans
The Texans won a pair of contests last week, downing Dallas Christian 107-41 last Tuesday and then defeating East Central 75-54 in Stephenville on Saturday. Tarleton shot 53.2 percent from the field, 41.9 percent from three-point range and 66.0 percent from the free throw line on the week.

West Liberty moved into the No. 1 spot this week after last week's former No. 1 lost to then No. 7-ranked Western Washington. Western Washington, who the Texans will face in Las Vegas, Nev., on Dec. 22, moved up to No. 5 following the victory of top-10 teams.

This marks the 71st week a Texan team has been ranked inside the NABC Top-25 Poll overall and 55th week to be ranked inside the top-15.

Nationally Speaking
The Texans ranked among the top-10 teams in the nation in seven different statistical categories when national statistics were released on Monday.

350 Home Wins for Reisman
With Saturday's 75-54 win over East Central, head coach Lonn Reisman recorded his 350 win inside Wisdom Gym. Reisman is now 350-64 (.845) overall when playing at home.

Getting Offensive
The Texans streak of scoring 85 points or more came to an end on Saturday at five straight games, which was the most in school history. But, with the 75 points against East Central, Tarleton poured in 75 or more points in six straight games for the first time since the 2001-02 season.

The last time a Texan team scored at least 75 points or more in seven straight games came in the 1997-98 season.

On pace...
The Texans are on pace to score 2,626 points in just the regular season, which would break the school record of 2,528 points scored in one season (1991-92). Tarleton's 97.7 ppg average is on pace to exceed the single-season school record of 84.3 points per game (1970-71) as well.

Up next for the Texans
Saturday's contest against McMurry has been moved to Tuesday, Dec. 17, due to the Tarleton Texan football team playing in the Heart of Texas Bowl, which is also scheduled for this Saturday, Dec. 7.

The Texans and Warhawks will now meet at 8 p.m. on Dec. 17, following the TexAnns home contest against Cederville.

Tareleton will then hit the road for its first games away from Wisdom Gym as the team heads to Las Vegas, Nev., to participate in the South Point Holiday Hoops Classic.
