LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton ended a two-game losing skid in their return to Wisdom Gym by handing Texas A&M-Kingsville a 72-55 defeat Saturday night. Raven McGrath led the team with 16 points off the bench while Kiara Wright (12), Brianna Bledsoe (10) and Meagan O'Dell (11) cracked double-figures in scoring. Wright also added a career-high seven assists.

SERIES HISTORY
This is the 38th all-time meeting between West Texas A&M and Tarleton with the Lady Buffs holding the advantage 30-7, including the win in Canyon earlier this season. The teams never met prior to Tarleton's induction into the NCAA in 1994 and WT took the first 14 games of the season before the TexAnns claimed back-to-back wins in the 2002 season. Tarleton won consecutive games again in 2004 and 2006. Tarleton got three more wins over WT in 2010-12 with the last win of the series for Tarleton coming Jan. 7, 2012 in Stephenville.

ANOTHER MILESTONE NIGHT FOR WRIGHT
Kiara Wright is coming off another career mileston moment Saturday night when she passed her friend and former teammate, Shelby Adamson, as the school's all-time NCAA scoring leader.

O'DELL ENTERS STARTING LINEUP
Meagan O'Dell earned her first career start Saturday night and poured in 11 points and three rebounds in 25 minutes while helping Tarleton to a 72-55 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville. O'Dell's insertion into the lineup is the third starting five for Tarleton this season and second move since losing Morgan Ashmore to a season-ending injury. O'Dell's entry into the starting lineup moves Kathy Thomas to the point guard position and Brianna Bledsoe to the 2-guard position.

MCGRATH THRIVING OFF THE BENCH
Raven McGrath returned to her original role as the first guard off the bench and delivered in a big way Saturday night with a team-high 16 points off the bench. In 18 games off the bench this season, McGrath is averaging 6.6 points on 51% shooting from the floor and 53% shooting from downtown compared to 4.4 points on 24% percent shooting from the floor and 30% from downtown in five games as a starter.

SCOUTING THE LADY BUFFS
West Texas A&M is one 14-point road loss to the No. 3 team in the country away from boasting an undefeated record. They started the season 7-0 before falling on the road to Emporia State 78-64 and have rebounded with a 14-game winning streak. They are led by senior forward Devin Griffin with 14.9 points per game while Chontiquah White (13.0) and Casey Land (10.2) also average double figures. When Tarleton and West Texas A&M met earlier this season, Griffin was forced to leave the game with an injury and the TexAnns outscored WT 29-9 over the first 10 minutes without Griffin on the floor.

UP NEXT FOR THE TEXANNS
The TexAnns will honor their three seniors on Senior Night in Wisdom Gym as they host No. 5 West Texas A&M at 6 p.m. Wednesday night in the home finale.
