THE GAME
No. 7 Tarleton State returns home for the friendly confines of Wisdom Gym for the regular season finale against Texas A&M-Commerce Saturday at 7 p.m., in which a win by the Texans would guarantee them the outright Lone Star Conference championship.

THE BROADCAST
The game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. THE OPPONENT
The Lions are boasting arguably its best season over the past decade with a 21-6 record entering Saturday's contest. After losing three of four games at the end of January, Commerce has won its last five straight including a 71-68 victory over No. 15 Angelo State Wednesday night at the Fieldhouse. Christian Macauley slammed home the game-winning dunk and converted the 'and-one' free throw with 1.9 seconds to lift the Lions over the Rams and guarantee Tarleton at least a share of the LSC Conference Championship for the fourth time in school history.

THE SERIES
The senior-college era series began between Tarleton State and Texas A&M-Commerce in 1962 when the Lions were still East Texas State. Commerce won 13 of the first 17 games before Lonn Reisman arrived at Tarleton, but Tarleton leads the series 25-16 since the current Texan coach took over the program in 1988. Since 2002, Tarleton has 17 wins of the next 23 meetings entering Saturday's game, including the first-ever meeting as nationally ranked rivals last January when Tarleton won 77-73 in Commerce.

SHARE OF THE TITLE
With Angelo's loss to Commerce Wednesday, Tarleton State was guaranteed at least of share of the LSC Championship for the fourth time in school history.

NOT INTERESTED IN SHARING
With a Tarleton win Saturday, the Texans would win its first outright LSC Championship since the league did away with divisions in 2011. The Texans only other 'outright' championship came in 2004 when the Texans won their division and the LSC Tournament in the same year.

The Texans were followed by LSC rivals Angelo State in fourth, Midwestern State in sixth and Texas A&M-Commerce in seventh.  Five teams in the South Central Rankings are nationally ranked.
