STEPHENVILLE – The Tarleton State Tennis dropped a home match 4-5 Saturday afternoon to Dallas Baptist at the Potisham-Lard Tennis Complex.
In singles play,
Ashleigh Elward (6-2,6-4) and
Gabriella Jansson (7-6, 7-5) came away with wins in the No. 2 and No. 5 matches, respectively.
Erika Richarme (5-7, 4-6), Luiza Adas (4-6,3-6),
Ellie Stevens (0-6, 2-6), and Ari Cabazas (3-6, 3-6) would drop the No. 1, 3, 4, and 6 matches, respectively.
Doubles play would see No. 1 pair of Ferraro-Adas and Elward and the No. 3 pair of Richarme and Cabezas-Marti win their matches with identical 8-5 scores.
The No. 2 pair of Jansson and Stevens dropped their match by a score of 7-9.
Tarleton would drop the match by a total score of 4-5, dropping them to 5-5 on the season.
Tarleton tennis be back in action April 1
st when they host East Central University.
