THE GAME
No. 22 Tarleton wraps up the first half of Lone Star Conference play as the host Texas A&M-Commerce on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 7p.m.

THE BROADCAST
Each game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the Texans, Casey Hogan, will be back calling the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton defeated Southwestern Adventist 113-50 behind five Texans scoring in double figures. EJ Reed led the way with 24 points.

THE OPPONENT: TEXAS A&M-COMMERCE
A&M-Commerce comes in with a 13-6 record overall and sixth in the LSC with a 2-4 league record. The Lions are 4-3 on the road this season. However, TAMUC is statistically one of the best teams in the country, ranking in the top 10 in several categories: 3rd in defensive rebounds per game (31.6); 4th in blocks per game (5.8); 4th in total blocks (110); 6th in rebound margin (9.2); and 7th in total rebounds (860). The Lions are led by Bryant Crowder's 15.6 points per game.

THE SERIES: TEXAS A&M-COMMERCE
In the Lonn Reisman era (1988), Tarleton is 28-17 against TAMUC and 32-30 all time since the series began in 1962. The Lions won the last meeting 53-51 in the LSC tournament semifinals in 2015. Tarleton has won 11 of the last 13 match ups and five straight at home.

REISMAN IN JANUARY
Since his debut season as the head coach of Tarleton in 1988, Lonn Reisman and the Texans have played 246 January games and amassed a record of 177-70 for a January winning percentage of .717. Tarleton has won eight straight games in January.

TEXANS AT HOME
In Coach Reisman's 28 seasons at Tarleton State, the Texans have amassed a total record of 388-63 including a record of 169-15 (.918) with two undefeated home seasons since 2005. The Texans went 20-1 at Wisdom Gym last season.

4-year Texan Michael Hardge, who has 290 career assists, passed Tarleton associate head coach Chris Reisman for 8th all time. Hardge needs 1 assists to pass Marcus Jacobs for 7th place. Hardge's 108 steals rank 8th all time.

Hardge also leads the LSC in steals at 1.8 per game. Hardge would become the first Texan to lead the LSC in steals since the LSC stats became available in 1999.

Michael Hardge has 22 career games of at least 5 assists. Tarleton is 20-2 when Hardge records 5 assists in a game.

WHEN THE TEXANS...
When Tarleton dishes out at least 14 assists, they are 9-0 on the year. Tarleton is 10-0 when they shoot at least 45 percent from the floor. The Texans are 9-0 when they have less than 15 turnovers.

DOUBLE DIGIT SCORERS
Tarleton has four players averaging at least 10 points per game in EJ Reed (18.5), Charles Hill (14.3), Michael Hardge (11.5) and Malcolm Hamilton (10.7). It's the first time since 2010-11 that the Texan have four double-digit scorers when Devon Hills (13.0), Effran Bryant (12.1), Corin Henry (11.8) and Jeremiah Wilson (10.8) did so.
