Final Results

HOUSTON - Tarleton track and field completed its final regular season indoor meet at the Howie Ryan Invitational in Houston and came away with several school records and provisional marks.

Aly Coughlin broke her own school record in the 3000m that she set two weeks ago. This time Coughlin ran a 9:49.06 to earn another provisional time and placed second. Coughlin's old record was 9:57.41.

Dylan Willett ran the mile in 4:08.57 to place third but the senior claimed a provisional mark in the process. Willett's time ranks second in the Lone Star Conference this season, trailing only Chase Rathke's 4:05.08 set on January 29.

Rathke won the 800m in a time of 1:54.95. It's Rathke's second first-place finish of the 2016 indoor season along with claiming the top prize in the mile.

In the men's 60m dash, Cornealius Blair set a new school record by running a 6.99 in the semifinals. The old record was 7.06 by Robert Adkinson in 2014.

DeAijha Hicks-Boyce set a new school record in the women's 200m dash with a time of 24.73 to place sixth. Hicks-Boyce broke Ariel Ballard's record of 25.36 set two weeks ago at the Houston Invitational.

Deylinn Garrett ran a 9.11 in the women's 60m hurdles to qualify for the semis where she ran a 9.10 to qualify for the finals. Garrett ran a 12.94 in the 60m hurdles finals.

In the men's 3000m, Peyton Heinig placed third in a time of 8:35.93 and Thorne Pettigrew ran the 3000m in 8:38.96 to finish sixth.

Rascellis Williams placed second in the high jump, clearing 2 meters (6'-6.75").

Jasmine Owens ran the 400m dash in 57.60 to place sixth. Cornealius Blair and Conner Wilkes each placed in the top eight in the men's 200m dash with Blair coming in seventh in a time of 23.15 and Wilkes in eighth (23.18).

Both Tarleton men's and women's 4x400m relay placed in the top six at the meet. The men's relay, consisting of Michael Eschbach, Jordan Ellison, Dalton Stidham, and Randall Kadlacek, ran a 3:21.54 and finished fifth. The women's relay of Arianna Stegall, Kara Bickham, Kamrynn Schiller, and Ashley Johnson ran a 3:51.05 and came in sixth and earned a provisional mark.
