STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton Track & Field had three student-athletes on the Lone Star Conferece All-Academic team, the league announced on Wednesday.

Aly Coughlin was the lone selection from the TexAnns, while
Dylan Willett and
Jordan Jones represented the Texans on the all-academic squad.

To be eligible for LSC academic honors, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.30 grade point average and have reached sophomore status both athletically and academically. The Academic Player of Year award and All-Academic Team are selected from the list of academically qualified players, with the league's sports information directors voting based on both academic and athletic achievement

Coughlin was the LSC Acadmeic Player of the Year for Indoor Track & Field. Couglin has the top time in the LSC in the 5000-meter this season, earning a provisional time at 17:06.67 at the Texas Relays. Coughlin also ranked third in the LSC in the 1500-meter.

Willett claimed an NCAA provisional marks in the 1500-meter (3:48.92) at the Bryan Clay Invitational and in the 5000-meter (14:34.17) at the Texas Relays. Willett's 5000-meter time is first in the LSC this season and his 1500-meter time ranks second. Jones was the LSC Indoor Academic Player of the Year and has seven top-10 finishes this season in the 4x100-meter relay and the 100-meter dash.
