FRISCO—The Tarleton track and field team competed at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Classic Thursday.
 
Tarleton had a few notable performances among the 20 schools that were in attendance.
 
In the women's mile run, Katelin Huckabee finished eighth with a time of 5:19.76. Ashley Johnson placed 13^th in the 400m run with a time of 58.89, which had 58 contestants.
 
Jarred Elizondo took third place in the men's 5000m run (15:32.83), while Dalton Stidham finished eighth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.44. Zach Pratt threw the shot put 51'-8.50, finishing him at fifth place. In the men's high jump, Rascellis Williams finished fourth with a jump of 6'-8.75.
 
Tarleton is set to compete at The Star in Frisco on Friday morning starting at 11 a.m.
