Final Results
COMMERCE – Tarleton Track & Field competed at the East Texas Invitational hosted by A&M-Commerce and came away with five first-place finishes, and four NCAA provisional marks.
Ashley Johnson ran a season best 55.94 in the 400m dash, and took home a first-place finish in her race.
Katelin Huckabee also picked up a gold medal as the senior from Belton ran a 4:42.92 in the 1500m run.

Rascellis Williams,
Johen Deleon, and
Cornelius Blair had first-place finishes on the day for the Texans. Williams competed in the high jump where he cleared 6-08.00 (2.03m), Deleon finished the 1500m run in a time of 3:57.35, and Blair had a season best 10.59 finish in the 100m dash.

Mikayla Morris had a solid outing as the freshman from Whitesboro took home 2 silver medals from the meet. Morris placed in the javelin throw (107-10), and the shot put (40-02.75).

Arianna Stegall clocked in a season best and finished second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.75 which is a NCAA provisional mark. Â

In the final standings, the TexAnns finished second with 117 points and the Texans finished third with 114 points.

Tarleton will head to Waco, Texas April 22, where they will be competing in the Michael Johnson Invitational.
