COMMERCE—Tarleton Track & Field wrapped up the final day of competition at the LSC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with four medals and four NCAA provisional marks.

The Texans (44.33 points) and TexAnns (51 points) both finished sixth overall. Texas A&M Commerce won the men's title, as did West Texas A&M women.

"We ended the meet on a high note with provisional marks, "said head coach Pat Ponder. "I thought our 4x400m relay teams really did well. "We are a young team and I feel that this meet really taught our freshman how tough the Lone Star Conference is. "I am very happy with how my student-athletes represented Tarleton State, now we will wait for the national selections."
