TexAnn Basketball Game Day: Wednesday Dec. 5 vs. Arlington Baptist

TexAnns return to action against Arlington Baptist at 5:30 p.m.; Ugly Christmas Sweater contest in Wisdom

THE GAME
Tarleton Women's Basketball will be back in Wisdom Gym Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. looking for their sixth win of the season when the TexAnns host Arlington Baptist. Tarleton enters the game with an overall record of 5-2 while the Patriots enter with a record of 3-4 and compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association.
 
GAME PROMOTIONS
Ugly Christmas Sweater fan contest in Wisdom Gym with a prize going to the ugliest sweater. Wednesday's games will be autograph night in Wisdom Gym as the TexAnns will stick around after the game and sign free team cards for Texan Nation. There will also be gas card giveaways, presented by Alon, and it will be 'Take a Kid to the Game' Night, which allows any child K-8th to receive free admission with a purchased adult ticket. One free child's ticket for each paid adult ticket.
 
TARLETON SPORTS NETWORK
A complete radio and video broadcast of the game can be heard and seen on the Tarleton Sports Network presented by the North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the TexAnns, Kyle Crews will have the call on the flagship station of Tarleton Athletics – KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville – and worldwide at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive. TICKET INFORMATION
The Tarleton State Ticket Office is open from 1:30-4 p.m. in the main lobby of Wisdom Gym and can be reached by telephone at 254-968-1832. Cash, check, and cards are all accepted. Tarleton's Stephenville Campus Students receive free admission to all home games with valid Stephenville Campus Student ID.
 
THE LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton couldn't complete the comeback from a first-quarter deficit and dropped its first Lone Star Conference game of the season with a 75-64 loss to Angelo State in Wisdom Gym Saturday afternoon. Prior to that, Tarleton got league action started on a positive note Thursday night in Wisdom Gym as the TexAnns won their fifth game of the young season with a 60-44 rout of Texas A&M-Kingsville.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
Arlington Baptist has come to Tarleton on four different occasions since 2013 and the TexAnns have won all four. The Patriots' women's basketball team is only in its seventh year of existence but are the defending champions of the last four NCCAA Division II National Championships. Head coach Clifton McDaniel is the only coach in the history of the women's program.
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
