Stidham finishes fourth, earns first NCAA Indoor All-American Honor

Pittsburg, Kan.—Dalton Stidham wrapped up the indoor track & field season with a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles and earned All-America status for the first time in his career.

"I am super proud of his performance today, said head coach Pat Ponder. "He has worked so hard this year to achieve the All-American honor. I give credit to coach Ryan Gibson for the job he did to prepare Dalton for this stage."

Stidham clocked a 7.95 and finished two tenths of a second behind Jonathan Ross from Shorter University who claimed the bronze medal. The junior from Boyd earned All-American status with his fourth-place finish, adding to his accolades this season when he was named USTFCCCA All-Region and the LSC All-Conference team.

Stidham and the Tarleton Track & Field team will open its outdoor season at the Cactus Cup in Kingsville on March 17.
