THE GAMES
Tarleton welcomes a pair of the Lone Star Conference's top opponents to Wisdom Gym in the final home games of the season this week. The TexAnns (18-6, 11-5 LSC) will square off with No. 17 West Texas A&M (21-3, 13-3 LSC) on Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. and then turnaround for a 2 p.m. matchup on Saturday against Eastern New Mexico (18-6, 13-3 LSC) on Senior Day.
WHAT'S AT STAKE
The first NCAA Regional rankings were released Wednesday afternoon and Tarleton is sitting in seventh. Tarleton is set to face-off with two of the teams tied at the top of the LSC standings, which will have a significant impact on rankings. West Texas A&M is currently in fourth while Eastern New Mexico is at No. 6 in the region. Tarleton is also two games behind WT, Eastern, and Angelo State for the LSC championship race with four games to go.
GAME DAY PROMOTIONS
Thursday night will be Greek Night and Tarleton ROTC Night in Wisdom Gym. All members of the Tarleton Greek Life and ROTC will be recognized during the game. Also, all residents of Morgan Mill will receive free admission to the game.
On Saturday, Tarleton will recognize its senior class playing their final game at Wisdom Gym. The class includes
Kaylee Allen,
McKinley Bostad, and
Katie Webster, as well as team manager Maddie Oliver and

PLAY4KAY NATIONAL FREE THROW CHALLENGE
Tarleton Women's Basketball is taking part in the 2019 National Free Throw Challenge to benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Fans can make a pledge per free throw made during the month of February or a one-time flat donation by visiting

LSC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS ON SALE
Advance tickets for the 2019 Lone Star Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championship are on sale now at LSC member institutions with all-session passes $15 off the regular price until March 5. The LSC Championship will be held March 7-10 at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. The event will start on Thursday and conclude Sunday.
THE LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton picked up its fifth straight win after squeezing past Texas Woman's on the road, 58-57, on Saturday at Kitty Magee Arena. Trailing by one in the final minute,
Mackenzie Hailey's bucket with 31 seconds left proved to be the game winner as the shot gave the TexAnns the 58-57 lead. Hailey finished with 10 points and was one of three TexAnns with four steals in the game.
INSIDE THE SERIES: WEST TEXAS A&M
Tarleton and West Texas A&M have met 51 times in their history, including one prior to Tarleton's NCAA era. The TexAnns won the first-ever meeting on Jan. 27, 1978 when the TexAnns defeated the Lady Buffs 79-73 in a home tournament. WT won 26 of 30 meetings from 1995 to 2010 but the TexAnns have won eight of the last 20 meetings since 2011, including the season's earlier matchup in Canyon 72-65.
INSIDE THE SERIES: EASTERN NEW MEXICO
Tarleton and Eastern New Mexico boast a 50-game history since the inaugural meeting in 1980. The TexAnns have won 33 games all-time against the Greyhounds, formerly named the Zias. Tarleton is 17-7 all-time in Portales and have won 29 of the last 36 meetings dating back to 2001, including 19 straight from 2008 to 2016.
