THE MATCHES
Tarleton Women's Tennis will head to Arkansas this weekend for three matches in two different cities. The Texans will go up against Ouachita Baptist at 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in Arkadelphia. Tarleton will then head to Searcy for their final two matches of the weekend. The Texans take on host Harding at 1 p.m. on Friday and Arkansas Tech at 11 a.m. on Saturday in a neutral site match.

ABOUT THE TEXANS
Tarleton is 2-2 on the season, including 1-1 against NCAA Division II opponents. Tarleton is coming off a road trip to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where they played two in-region opponents. The Texans defeated Northeastern Oklahoma 4-3 and fell to No. 9 Central Oklahoma in their first match of the year against a nationally-ranked opponent.
Celia Vaudiau leads the team with a singles record of 3-1 while the tandem of
Nathalie Ulander and Vaudiau lead the team in doubles with a 2-2 record.

BARBAROUX RANKED BY ITA
Senior
Alicia Barbaroux leads the group as the team's lone senior. The native of France is a two-time All-LSC and the 2018 LSC Player of the Year. She enters the season as the No. 35-ranked individual in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and has five career wins against nationally-ranked opponents. She is also ranked No. 3 in the South Central region.
