Texans Aim for Perfect Homestand with Saturday Matinee Against Howard Payne

ABOUT THE MATCHUP
  • This is the 24th meeting between these two programs, but just the second matchup since 1997.
  • Tarleton leads the series 17-6, with an 8-4 mark in Stephenville.

The Texans will hit the road for just one game before returning home for two more. Tarleton will play at the College of Charleston on Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT. It will be the Texans' second road game of the season and their first since the season opener at Arkansas on Nov. 10. The Cougars are 2-0 this season, playing their third game Friday night against Norfolk State.
