AT A GLANCE
The Texans are competing against the Cougars of Chicago State Monday and Tuesday to kick off the March portion of their volleyball schedule. Although Chicago State is a member of the Western Athletic Conference the two matches this week will not count towards the conference standings for either team.

With all previous matches postponed this will only be the Cougars third and fourth games of the season as they were swept by Utah Valley the week prior. Tarleton who is 7-7 on the season after taking down TCU on Thursday is looking to add two more wins to the win column this week.

No fans and outside media are allowed inside the arena in accordance with guidelines set by the Illinois Department of Public Health and Chicago State Athletics. Tickets are not available for purchase.Â

Tarleton and Chicago State are meeting for the first time in program history.

LAST TIME OUT: TCU
In the Texans last outing they defeated their first 'Power 5' opponent with TCU in a 4-1 match. Falling in the first set the Texans bounced back and dominated the next three adding another win to the win column. Tarleton has now won the three straight matches and six of the last seven to move to .500 on the season.

Hali'a Swartman-Hogan led the last match in kills with 19 and setting a new career-high for herself.
Lauren Kersey added 16 kills of her own while the offense was led by
Kayla Brannon's 44 assists where she also acquired her fourth double-double of the season.

The Texans will travel back home to compete against Dixie State at home in Wisdom Volleyball Gym Monday Mar. 8 and Tuesday Mar. 9 both matches are set to begin at 6 p.m. Â
