AT A GLANCE
The Texans will compete in their second matchup this year against a 'Power 5,' Big XII program, when Texas Tech comes to Wisdom Volleyball Gym for a midweek nonconference competition.

Texas Tech is 6-12 on the year after playing a full fall conference schedule and splitting a matchup with the University of Houston so far this spring. Tarleton is looking to pick up another win against a Big XII program after defeating TCU on Feb. 25 in four sets.

This is the first time in program history Tarleton and Texas Tech are competing against each other.

The Wisdom Gym ticket office will only open on game day for will call and complimentary ticket pickup. The Wisdom Gym will call ticket window will open one hour before the start of each match.

Tarleton and Texas Tech are meeting for the first time in program history.

LAST TIME OUT: DIXIE STATE
The Texans are coming off of a two-match split with Dixie State where they swept the Trailblazers in match one and lost in three sets to the Trailblazers in match two.
Â
Amber Strange led the team in kills in match one, racking up her 1,000
th career kill in that match, but
Lauren Kersey was the kill leader of match two with 13.
Ana Costas and
Isabel Gonzaba posted double digit kills in both matches and
Kayla Brannon tacked on 47 assists.
Lorin McNeil led both matches in blocks with three night one and seven night two.
