The Texans are competing against the Vaqueros of UT-Rio Grande Valley Monday and Tuesday for their last matches of the season. Both games are slated to begin at 6 p.m.

INSIDE THE SERIES: UTRGV
Tarleton and TCU are meeting for the fourth time in program history. The Texans currently lead the series 3-0. The first time the Texans and Vaqueros met was Oct. 18, 1986 and the last meeting was Sept. 5, 2008.

LAST TIME OUT: TCU
In the Texans last outing they defeated the Horned Frogs of TCU for the second time this season. Tarleton won this match in Fort Worth pushing TCU to five sets.

Amber Strange had a career high 22 kills in the match and hit .438 to lead the team.
Lauren Kersey added 11 kills and
Kayla Brannon paced the offense with 43 assists and recorded 16 digs for her 10
th double-double this season. Brannon was just one of three Texans to have double-digit digs in the match while Kersey and
Brianna Rhodes each posted four blocks.

UP NEXT
The two matches against UTRGV are the last matches of the Texans inaugural Division I season and are not eligible for post season play due to being in the first year of transitioning to Division I.
