STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton continues to climb the ladder in the latest national top-25 poll by the American Football Coaches Association as the Texans are now ranked No. 21 in the country at the FCS level.
Tarleton is 5-2 on the season after shutting out Northeastern State in a 38-0 blowout in Stephenville last weekend. The Texans have defeated Division I foes Dixie State and FBS New Mexico State this season.
This is the third time Tarleton has been nationally-ranked this season and the second consecutive week by the AFCA Coaches. The first ranking came in the national media poll presented by Stats Perform FCS where they debuted at No. 22. They have received votes in the media poll every week since.
