AT A GLANCE
The Texans will compete against Western Athletic Conference opponent Dixie State Monday and Tuesday in Stephenville. Both games are slated to start at 6 p.m. This is the first home matchup against a WAC opponent at home for the Texans since Feb. 19 and 20 when they took on Utah Valley.

This is the second time both of these schools are meeting in school history. The first matchup took place on August 30, 2018 when the Texans fell to the Trailblazers in St. George in four sets.

ATTENDING THE MATCH
At this time, capacity is limited to a maximum of 50 percent inside the Wisdom Volleyball Gym, per Governor Abbott's Executive Order No. GA-28. Due to the WAC's COVID-19 policy, the seating areas must be at least 12 feet from playing surface.

There will be no general admission tickets sold for home volleyball games this season. Only Tarleton students, Texan Club passes, and Tarleton and visitor team complimentary tickets will be allowed in the Wisdom Volleyball Gym. The Wisdom Gym ticket office will only open on game day for will call and complimentary ticket pickup. The Wisdom Gym will call ticket window will open one hour before the start of each match.

INSIDE THE SERIES: DIXIE STATE
This is the second time both of these schools are meeting in school history. The first matchup took place on August 30, 2018 when the Texans fell to the Trailblazers in St. George in four sets.

LAST TIME OUT: CHICAGO STATE
The Texans swept WAC opponent Chicago State in Chicago. Both of the matches from this past week do not count towards WAC standings as Chicago State opted out of having WAC opponent games count.

The Texans beat the Cougars 3-0 in match one and 3-2 in match two. The two wins this past week push the Texans to five straight wins and improve their overall record to 9-7.

Lauren Kersey led both matches in kills and
Lorin McNeil compiled eight blocks continuing her lead in the WAC in blocks per set.

The Texans will take on another 'Power 5' Big 12 team Texas Tech on Thursday March 11 in Wisdom Volleyball Gym at 6 p.m.
