QUICK HITS
  • Tarleton has won two straight and three of their last four. With a win Saturday, they'd match a season-long winning streak of three games.
  • The Texans are cooking offensively right now, averaging 73.7 points on 42.8 percent shooting, 36.6 percent from the three-point line. They last finished a season with this high of a scoring average in 2013-14, and are averaging 12.8 points more than they averaged last season. They're first in the WAC in three-point percentage, fourth in scoring, fourth in field goal percentage.
  • The Texans have made 26 three-pointers over their last two games, their most in a two-game stretch in program history, surpassing the 25 made between Nov. 22-28, 2014, 12 vs. Texas Wesleyan and 13 at Lubbock Christian. Tarleton's 14 three-point makes at Western Illinois just two games ago are their second most three-pointers in a game in program history.

She earned the first 30+ point game in Tarleton's NCAA Division I era, the 21st 30+ point game in their NCAA era. Mackenzie Hailey had the last 30+ point game vs. Eastern New Mexico on March 5, 2020. Da Silva has one of three 30+ point games in the WAC this year.

  • Teresa Da Silva – Da Silva has three straight 20+ point games, averaging 25.3 points (47.1 FG%, 50.0 3PT%), 6.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.0 steals. At three straight 20+ point games, that's the longest such stretch by a Texan since Jan. 2-8, 2014 (Kiara Wright).
  • Tyler Jackson – Jackson has made 18-of-40 (.450) from distance this season, almost near her amount of three-point makes (20) all of last year. She has the tied-fifth most three-point makes in the WAC (along with Teresa Da Silva), and is 13th in scoring at 12.9 points per game.
