STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The 2022 Tarleton Volleyball schedule has been altered, the Texans and Western Athletic Conference announced on Wednesday.
The first four weekends of the season (two home tournaments and two away tournaments) remain unchanged.
Rather than beginning conference play at home vs. Abilene Christian on Sept. 24, the Texans now open WAC play in Nacogdoches on Sept. 22 vs. Stephen F. Austin. They follow that up with a home match vs. UTRGV on Sept. 24. They take on the Lady Jacks and Vaqueros twice now with the updated schedule.
SFA makes the return trip to Stephenville on Sept. 29 for a 6 p.m. match, which was on the original schedule.
Tarleton now plays ACU in Abilene, rather than the previously scheduled home match. They take on the Wildcats on Oct. 22 at 1 p.m.
The New Mexico State match in Las Cruces that was previously set for Oct. 20 was moved to Nov. 10 at 6 p.m.
Incarnate Word and Lamar fall off the 2022 schedule as they departed for the Southland Conference.
