STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The excitement of Texan Volleyball is coming back to Wisdom Gym one week sooner. Tarleton will welcome its students back to campus with a glow-themed 'Block Party' at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 19.
 
Fans are encouraged to fill Wisdom Gym in bright, neon colors as Tarleton Athletics passes out glow in the dark giveaways. The musical stylings of DJ Quan will pump throughout Wisdom Gym as the 2022 Texans take the court for a purple-white intrasquad scrimmage followed by an opportunity to meet the team.
 
Doors will open at 8 p.m. with a traditional volleyball pregame warmup lasting until 9 p.m. before the team plays a two-set scrimmage the rest of the way.
 
The Block Party will follow the "Meet the Greeks" event hosted by Tarleton Greek Life. It is an in-person only event and will not be streamed. Attendance is free to the public and student body. Glow item giveaways from Tarleton Athletics are available for all fans.
