STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Coaches spend a majority of their time developing and teaching their players, but it's also important for coaches to learn from and grow their network with other fellow coaches. That's what the Tarleton men's basketball program is offering in mid-October.
 
Tarleton MBB is hosting a Coaches Clinic on Oct. 14-15, open to basketball coaches at all levels across the state of Texas, both near and far to Stephenville, to learn from head coach Billy Gillispie and his staff.
 
During the two-day clinic, the Texans will demonstrate drills, plays and special situations, along with running multiple practices and a recruiting presentation. At the end of each day, Tarleton will hold question-and-answer sessions. The team will also provide meals each day.
 
On Friday, Oct. 14, check-in begins at 5:30 p.m., with the clinic scheduled to end at 9 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 15, the day begins at 8:30 a.m., ending at 1:30 p.m.
 
It is $30 to attend the Coaches Clinic, which will take place at Wisdom Gym in Stephenville.
