ABOUT THE MATCHUP
- This marks the fifth all-time meeting, all within the last two years. Tarleton improved to 3-1 in the all-time series just over two weeks ago, winning 74-72 in Stephenville on Jan. 26.
- In the first meeting this year, Lue Williams went off for 25 points (11-23 FG, 3-8 3PT), six rebounds, four steals and two blocks. Garry Clark added 13 points and five rebounds off the bench.
- In that Jan. 26 game, Tarleton won the first half 50-28, and Utah Tech won the second 44-24.

- Freddy Hicks – Hicks just totaled 18 points (11-13 FT), eight rebounds and three steals. He's played all 40 minutes in back-to-back games. In the WAC, he's top-15 in both scoring (15.6 PPG, sixth) and rebounding (5.8 RPG, 13th). He now leads the team in conference play scoring (13.4 PPG).
- Shakur Daniel – Daniel just tallied 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 3PT) in 39 minutes against the Thunderbirds. He's averaging the most minutes per game in the WAC this season (35.2), and is first in conference play playing time (36.6 MPG). He's also 17th in both APG (2.8) and SPG (1.3).
- Garry Clark – Clark loves playing the Utah programs, owning three of his top six scoring performances of the year against Southern Utah and Utah Tech. He's averaged 13.7 points and 4.7 rebounds against Utah programs. Against all other programs, Clark has averaged 4.2 PPG and 1.9 RPG.
