STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton will compete at the Wes Kittley Invitational hosted by Abilene Christian at Elmer Gray Stadium on Friday and Saturday.
 
The meet will be the Texans second outdoor meet of the season and second consecutive meet hosted by a Western Athletic Conference opponent as they competed at the UTA Invite this past weekend.
 
The meet kicks off Friday with field events. Discus will be the first event beginning at 2 p.m. The distance carnival that has the 1500m run, 5,000m run and 10,000m run begins at 6:45 p.m.
 
Saturday's slate starts with field events at 10:30 a.m. with track events beginning at 2 p.m. The hammer throw and shot put begin at 1 p.m. at the East Throwing Field while other events are in the stadium.
 
Tarleton will have 62 student-athletes competing, with 35 men and 27 women. Teams that will be competing include Texas Tech, Hardin-Simmons, McMurry, Angelo State, St. Edward's, Midwestern State, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Central Oklahoma, UT-Dallas, Western Texas and Ranger.
