Tarleton snapped its nine-game losing streak on Wednesday and is now looking to right the ship in Western Athletic Conference play.
They will have a tough test in the California Baptist Lancers at their ballpark. The Lancers enter the series sitting in fifth place in the WAC. Tarleton will look to win its first WAC series this season, trying to fight back into contention for the WAC tournament.
All three games of the series will be streamed on ESPN+.

• Tarleton will meet California Baptist in Riverside at Totman Stadium for the fifth, sixth and seventh times ever this weekend. The Texans snapped a nine-game losing streak at UCR on Wednesday.
• The Texans played at CBU in a four-game series in 2021, a series that the Lancers swept. That series marked the first meeting between the two schools.
• CBU is in fifth place in the WAC with a 9-6 record, having played WAC series at UTRGV, at SFA, vs. Seattle U, vs. Utah Tech and at NM State. Tarleton is in 13th place with just one WAC win. They have played series vs. UTA, at UTRGV, vs. SFA and a lone game at Utah Valley.
• Tarleton holds a .309 team batting average, with the Lancers hitting .270 as a squad. CBU has 46 home runs and 74 extra base hits while the Texans have 30 home runs and 76 extra base hits. Cris Enriquez has been hot at the plate as of late. Enriquez is on a six-game hit streak and has produced a three-hit game in three of the last five he has played in. On Wednesday at UC Riverside, Enriquez launched a two-run home run and finished the game with three hits, three RBI and two runs scored.

Trace Morrison added his 11th multi-hit performance of the season on Wednesday at UCR. Morrison is hitting .415 this season and is currently on an eight-game hit streak.
