The No. 2 seed Texans will play in their first NCAA Division I conference tournament, beginning Thursday at 9 a.m. CT at the Arlington Tennis Center against No. 7 seed Seattle U.

This is a single-elimination tournament featuring the WAC's top eight teams based on regular season records. Tarleton finished second in the standings with a 7-2 WAC record, a match behind the top-seed UT Arlington (8-1). The Texans beat the Redhawks 5-2 just two weeks ago in Seattle, winning five singles matches on Courts 2-6.

On Thursday, Tarleton will play their exact same singles lineup from that match against Seattle U. Emma Persson (14-6) will play on Court 1, Martha Makantasi (9-10) will play on Court 2, Elsa Boisson (15-4) will play on Court 3, Ximena Morales (8-10) will play on Court 4, Clara Sobius (15-6) will play on Court 5 and Celia Vaudiau (8-4) will play on Court 6.

All six players won their last singles match, and three have at least a four-match winning streak, led by Boisson who has won seven straight singles matches.

In doubles, Tarleton will line up how they did in their last match, a 3-0 sweep at Utah Tech. The Texans will pair up Makantasi and Morales on Court 1, Boisson and Vaudiau on Court 2 and Persson and Sobius on Court 3.

The winner between Tarleton and Seattle U will play the winner between No. 3 UTRGV and No. 6 New Mexico State on Friday at 9 a.m. CT at the Arlington Tennis Center. The Texans beat both the Vaqueros and Aggies this season, 6-1 over UTRGV and 4-3 over NMSU. Whoever advances among those four programs will play in the championship match on Saturday at 9 a.m. CT at the Arlington Tennis Center against either No. 1 UT Arlington, No. 4 Grand Canyon, No. 5 Abilene Christian or No. 8 Sam Houston.

There are no tickets required to attend the 2023 WAC Women's Tennis Tournament. The event is free and open to the public.

On Thursday, GCU and ACU will be playing at the same time as Tarleton and Seattle U. At noon, UTA and Sam Houston will match up, along with UTRGV and New Mexico State.
