STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Former Tarleton State Men's Basketball player Shakur Daniel recently signed with the San Diego Clippers of the NBA G-League to continue his professional career.

"It's always great to see guys continue to have a chance to follow their dreams," said head coach
Billy Gillispie. "Shak should be an inspiration to us all. He is the best example of an everyday guy you could ever imagine. He has been a jack-of-all trades, master of none with his best quality of being a supreme winner. His work ethic is unmatched. A classic 'put your hard hat on every day and go to work'. We were so blessed to have had Shak here and hope for his dream to continue. I would never count him out."
