STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State will remain home following their home opener sweep of Cowley and Collin last weekend. The Texans sit at a perfect 4-0 on the season and look to improve on that this weekend.
The Texans are set to host Oral Roberts on Friday and then welcome Texas State on Sunday afternoon. The Friday match will start at 1 p.m. and Sunday's will start at 11 a.m.
"We are looking forward to competing this weekend," said head coach Elianne Douglas Miron. "We know these two teams well and we know they are going to put up a good fight. We practiced well this week and I know the team is ready to come out with a lot of energy and put on a show for fans at home."
The Purple and White made the trip to Tulsa last year and the Navy and Gold will make the return trip to Stephenville this year. This will mark the Golden Eagles' first trip to Stephenville since April of 2014. The last time the teams faced off in February 2023, the Texans took the tight 4-3 win.
