It's Homecoming at Tarleton State University, and there are lots of events throughout campus every day and every night in Stephenville. For Tarleton State Athletics, the action starts Monday night at the EECU Center, for Tarleton State Basketball's Midnight Madness. Texan Football will host its Homecoming game on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Memorial Stadium, followed by Texan Men's Basketball hosting TCU on Sunday at 3 p.m., with the Horned Frogs becoming the first Power 4 program to ever play in Stephenville.

TEXAN FOOTBALL is now 7-0 on the season, one of two 7-0 teams across all of NCAA Division I football, along with the FCS' Lehigh. The Texans expect another packed crowd at Memorial Stadium for its Homecoming game, as they'll take on ranked West Georgia in a vital United Athletic Conference matchup. Besides a great game that day, fans can also attend a Kyle Park pregame concert in Texan Alley from 4-5:30 p.m., the author of local favorite "Leavin' Stephenville."

TEXAN BASKETBALL begins action this week, starting Monday night with Midnight Madness. The Tarleton State Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball teams will be introduced in the late-night affair, with doors opening at the EECU Center at 11 p.m. There will be great events throughout the "pre" event, with the teams being introduced at midnight. Both programs will participate in fun games with special guests, and to cap off the night around 12:40 a.m., America's Got Talent's hypnotist Chris Jones will perform to dazzle the crowd. There will be 1,000 free shirts for early arriving fans at Midnight Madness. Then, on Sunday, Texan Men's Basketball will host TCU at 3 p.m. This will mark the first time any Power 4 program has ever played a game in Stephenville. Sunday will be the inaugural game played at the EECU Center, and it's sure to be a fun one between the Texans and Horned Frogs. Also, Christian and Scooby will be performing at halftime of the game.

TEXAN SOCCER played just one game this past week, earning a 2-2 draw against Abilene Christian at home. Tarleton State has just five regular season game remaining before the WAC Tournament, with two road contests this week, first at Utah Tech on Thursday at 8 p.m. CT, then at Southern Utah on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT.

TEXAN VOLLEYBALL just split their two home matches this past week and went 2-1 on their three-match homestand, improving to 9-8 overall and 3-2 in conference play. The Texans will play just a single match this week, heading to rival Abilene Christian on Saturday at 1 p.m. Â

TEXAN MEN'S GOLF will play at the Oregon State Invitational on Tuesday-Wednesday in Salem, Oregon, at Illahe Hills Country Club. In Tarleton State's last outing, Alvaro Pastor shot -7 to tie
for 14th at the Mark Simpson Invitational in Colorado. The Texans shot -9, their best team score since March 2024 (also -9).

TEXAN CROSS COUNTRY will compete in its final regular season meet before the tournament event, with a Friday race at Texas A&M's Arturo Barrios Invitational in College Station, Texas, at Watts Cross Country Course. The Texans just posted a pair of top-15 team finishes at Arkansas'
Chile Pepper Festival. The men placed 11th out of 31 teams in the 8K. The women finished 14th in the 5K, over 50 points ahead of Abilene Christian.

TEXAN TENNIS will play in the WAC's premier event of the fall, the WAC Tennis Invitational in St. George, Utah, at the Trailblazer Tennis Courts. The Texans swept the WAC's first monthly awards, with Marissa Minetti named WAC Singles Player of the Month after going 6-0, plus Emma Persson and Clara Sobius were Doubles Players of the Month after going 5-1. At the ACU Classic, the Texans won four draws and combined to go 18-6.

THE TODD WHITTEN SHOW will be back on Thursday at 12 p.m., live at Triple Crowd Ford, with free pizza provided by Cicis for all in attendance. Shows will commence every Thursday the rest of the season except for when Tarleton State Football has its final bye week in November. The Todd Whitten Show, presented by Triple Crown Ford, will broadcast live from 12-12:30 p.m. in the lobby of Triple Crown Ford, located at 2975 W. Washington St. in Stephenville. The weekly radio show featuring Texan Football head coach Todd Whitten will air on the flagship station of Tarleton State Athletics, KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville, Texas, and worldwide at TarletonSports.com/Watch.
