STEPHENVILLE, Texas — One of the greatest weeks on the Tarleton State University calendar is near, and it will once again be a special week for Tarleton State Athletics.
Next week marks Homecoming at Tarleton State, and there will be three major athletic events on campus – Tarleton State Basketball's Midnight Madness at the EECU Center on Oct. 13, Tarleton State Football vs. West Georgia at Memorial Stadium on Oct. 18, and Tarleton State Men's Basketball vs. TCU at the EECU Center on Oct. 19.
For the two games, Tarleton State Athletics is promoting a "Homecoming 2-for-1 Special" for fans to attend the weekend's homecoming football game and men's basketball game for just $35.
Tarleton State Football is one of three NCAA Division I teams to start 6-0 this season, and one of just two 6-0 teams in the FCS, and following this weekend's road game at Utah Tech, the Texans will host West Georgia on Homecoming on Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. Tickets start as low as $20 for general admission tickets, or as low as $26 for west side reserved tickets.
For Tarleton State Men's Basketball, this will mark the first game in the brand-new EECU Center, as the Texans face the Horned Frogs on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. TCU becomes the first Power Four program to play in Stephenville for this exhibition contest. Tickets start as low as $15 for the game.
Monday's Midnight Madness is free for all to attend, with doors opening at 11 p.m. and both the Texan Women's Basketball and Texan Men's Basketball teams run out at midnight.
Midnight Madness is presented by Barefoot Campus Outfitter. The Texan Football Homecoming game is presented by National Farm Life, and the Texan Men's Basketball game vs. TCU is also presented by Barefoot Campus Outfitter.
