STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State Volleyball announced on Wednesday full schedules for its two home tournaments, updated home game times for the Texan Classic, and that passes are now available.
There will be six total matches at each of Tarleton State Volleyball's home tournaments this season. First, the Tarleton State Invitational will be on Sept. 4-6, featuring Tarleton State, New Mexico, Northwestern State and Prairie View A&M. Then on Sept. 18-20 will be the Texan Classic, featuring Tarleton State, North Texas, Louisiana Tech and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Passes are $30 for each tournament in the reserved sections, or $20 in general admission per tournament. Fans can also buy a day pass for any day of the tournament, with tickets priced at $20 for the reserved section for a day, or $15 for general admission.

For the Tarleton State Invitational on Sept. 4-6, Tarleton State will have its home opener on Sept. 4 against New Mexico at 7 p.m. It will be a Purple Rally on the Purple Thursday, with Tarleton State Athletics giving away free purple rally towels at both the Tarleton State Soccer Complex and Wisdom Gym for the double-dip night.
On Sept. 5, there will be three matches throughout the day, starting with New Mexico and Northwestern State at 1 p.m., then Prairie View A&M and Northwestern State at 4 p.m., followed by Tarleton State and Prairie View A&M at 7 p.m. Tarleton State will host Food Bank Day for its match against Prairie View A&M, in honor of the national holiday. Texan fans can receive a free general admission ticket per two canned goods donated to the Tarleton State Ticket Office pregame, with all donated items supporting Tarleton State's Purple Pantry.
On Sept. 6, there will be two matches, with New Mexico taking on Prairie View A&M at 10 a.m. and Tarleton State hosting Northwestern State at 1 p.m. That day is National Tailgate Day, and Tarleton State Volleyball will host a Tailgate Day of its own. Fans who attend the Texans' match and stay throughout the entirety will receive entry into an exclusive "Tarleton State Volleyball" tailgate ahead of Tarleton State Football's home opener later that day. At the tailgate will be free food, non-alcoholic beverages, music, and the Texan Volleyball team will join at some point during the tailgate.
The Texan Classic will be Sept. 18-20, with two matches set for each of the three days, and updated times for each match as of Wednesday. On Sept. 18, Louisiana Tech will face North Texas at 2 p.m., followed by Tarleton State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 6 p.m. That will bew Greek Night, as Tarleton State invites all fraternities and sororities on campus to the match for a fun event.
On Sept. 19, North Texas will face Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 2 p.m., followed by Tarleton State and Louisiana Tech at 6 p.m. The Texans will host Friday Family Night, with special deals at the concession stands for families in attendance, in honor of Family Weekend.
On Sept. 20, Arkansas-Pine Bluff will take on Louisiana Tech at 10 a.m., followed by Tarleton State and North Texas at 1 p.m. The Texans will host a cowboy-cowgirl themed match called "True Texan Day." Fans are encouraged to don true Texan attire and show that Tarleton State is home to the real Texans in the matchup.
Tarleton State Volleyball begins its 2025 season this weekend at Louisiana at the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Classic. The Texans' first match will be Friday at 3 p.m. CT against New Orleans.
