STEPHENVILLE, Texas – There will be 12 regular season home matches for Tarleton State Volleyball this season in Stephenville, plus the Texans' Purple and White Scrimmage on Aug. 26. All 13 events will have a promotional component to kickoff head coach Jazmyne Johnson's first season at the helm.
 
Tarleton State Volleyball will host its annual Purple and White Scrimmage on Tuesday, Aug 26, at 6 p.m. It will be a three-set scrimmage featuring the entire 2025 roster, a perfect chance for fans to see the beginning of Texan Volleyball's new era. After the game, the team will host a postgame autograph session, signing 2025 schedule posters.
 
Tarleton State's regular season home opener will be on Sept. 4, as the Texans take on New Mexico. It will be a Purple Rally on the Purple Thursday, with Tarleton State Athletics giving away free purple rally towels at both the Tarleton State Soccer Complex and Wisdom Gym for the double-dip night.
 
On Sept. 5, Tarleton State will host Food Bank Day for its match against Prairie View A&M, in honor of the national holiday. Texan fans can receive a free general admission ticket per two canned goods donated to the Tarleton State Ticket Office pregame, with all donated items supporting Tarleton State's Purple Pantry.
 
On Sept. 6, for National Tailgate Day, Tarleton State Volleyball will host a Tailgate Day of its own. Fans who attend the match and stay throughout the entirety of the Texans' battle with Northwestern State will receive entry into an exclusive "Tarleton State Volleyball" tailgate ahead of Tarleton State Football's home opener later that day. At the tailgate will be free food, non-alcoholic beverages, music, and the Texan Volleyball team will join at some point during the tailgate.
 
On Sept. 18 for Tarleton State's match vs. UAPB, the Texans will host Greek Night, as they invite all fraternities and sororities on campus to the match for a fun event.
 
On Sept. 19, the Texans will host Friday Family Night, with special deals at the concession stands for families in attendance, in honor of Family Weekend.
 
On Sept. 20 for Tarleton State's bout against North Texas, the Texans will host a cowboy-cowgirl themed match called "True Texan Day." Fans are encouraged to don true Texan attire and show that Tarleton State is home to the real Texans in the matchup.
 
On Oct. 2,  it will be a Purple Out and Camp Reunion for Tarleton State's first home conference match of the season, with the Texans facing UT Arlington. Tarleton State will be giving away free purple shirts to encourage the Purple Out at both Wisdom Gym and the Tarleton State Soccer Complex for another double dip. Plus, the Texans are inviting all summer camp participants back to Wisdom Gym to watch the team in action.
 
On Oct. 9, Tarleton State will host a Pink Out against Utah Tech as the Texans Dig for a Cure. Early arriving fans will receive free pink pom-poms to help support the night.
 
On Oct. 11, Tarleton State and Southern Utah will battle on Military Appreciation. Tarleton State will have a military themed giveaway and concession deals for veterans and active duty members.
 
On Oct. 25, the Texans will host "Volloween" to add to the Halloween festivities, with a trick-or-treat event, a costume contest and Halloween themed activities.
 
On Nov. 6, it will be Throwback Thursday at Wisdom Gym for Tarleton State's match against Utah Valley. The Texans will throw it back to the 1990's and encourage fans to do the same, plus Tarleton State Residence Life will have giveaways to students in attendance.
 
On Nov. 8, to end the home slate for Tarleton State Volleyball, the Texans will host both Senior Day and Alumni Day for their match against Abilene Christian. Tarleton State will honor its seniors and alumni who have made this program so special.
