STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference announced its full list of 2025 Fall Academic All-WAC recipients on Wednesday, with 49 Texans claiming the honor.
 
The awards covered four sports that Tarleton State participates in – Football, Soccer, Volleyball and Cross Country.
 
Student-athletes who met the following conditions were eligible to earn Academic All-WAC honors:

1. Student-athletes who are of sophomore, junior or senior status.
2. Student-athletes who have completed one academic year at the member institution.
3. Student-athletes who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or better.
4. Student-athletes who competed in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.

 
Freshmen and transfers from the fall sports may receive this award at the end of the academic year, but since the criteria requires that the student-athlete must have completed one academic year at the member institution, they are not eligible until after the spring semester.
