STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference announced
its 2025-26 Winter Academic All-WAC recipients, with 14 Texans claiming the honor.
Student-athletes who met the following conditions were eligible to earn Academic All-WAC honors:
- Student-athletes who are of sophomore, junior or senior status.
- Student-athletes who have completed one academic year at the member institution.
- Student-athletes who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or better.
- Student-athletes who competed in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
Freshmen and transfers from the winter sports may receive this award at the end of the academic year, but since the criteria requires that the student-athlete must have completed one academic year at the member institution, they are not eligible until after the spring semester.
