ABOUT THE MATCHUP
  • This is the second meeting. Tarleton State won last year's match 4-0 on the road on Aug. 24, scoring a pair of goals in each half. The Texans outshot the Tigers 20-4 across the 90 minutes.
  • Texas Southern has lost four straight matches, and hasn't won since its season opener on Aug. 13 at UTRGV (2-0).
