ON THE ROAD
The Texans have struggled in their five road games so far, going 2-3.

Earlier this season, the Texans played four games in nine days, including three on the road. During that road trip, Tarleton traveled approximately 1,021 miles in seven days through Oklahoma and Texas.

The longest stretch, however, is when Tarleton goes to Portales, N.M. this weekend, returns Saturday night, then goes to Canyon next Tuesday and returns Wednesday night.  The Texans will travel over 1,500 miles in that stretch while trying to improve their road record to one that is of the winning variety.

PLAYING IN THE SOUTH
The Texans are 85-44 in the South Division since the LSC split into divisions in 1997-98.  Tarleton played in the North Division in 2002-03, 2003-04 and 2004-05.  In division play, the Texans are 114-49 in that span.
