STEPHENVILLE - The Tarleton baseball team will travel to Southeastern Oklahoma for a three-game series starting Friday in Durant, Okla.
The Texans are 14-3 overall this season and 10-2 in Lone Star Conference games. Tarleton is coming off a rough 17-2 thumping by No. 13 St. Mary's, but they have won their last eight LSC contests.
As a team, the Texans are hitting a .285 average, while recording a .428 slugging percentage and a .382 on-base percentage.
Mark Jeffery leads the way offensivley with a .487 average to go along with 19 hits, 10 RBI's and 11 runs.
Travis Hayes is hitting a .378 average with nine RBI's, as six Texans are hitting above .300 on the year.
Chris Casazza team-highs with 18 RBI's, six home runs, and 62 at-bats and 18 runs scored.
Ethan Stuckly is second on the team with 11 RBI's, while leading Tarleton with 20 hits.
The Texans lead the LSC with a .966 fielding percentage.
The pitching staff for Tarleton has a combined ERA of 4.51 compared to opponents' 5.69 ERA. Reigning LSC pitcher of the week and three-time award winner
Miguel Ramirez has had a dominant year so far with a 0.33 ERA, a 4-0 record, and 32 strikeouts.
Ryan Turner has added a 3-0 record with a 1.29 ERA, four saves and 26 strikeouts.

Brandyn Greer also have a pair of wins for Tarleton.
Southeastern Oklahoma on the other hand is 7-8 on the year and 5-4 in the LSC.
The Savage Storm is hitting a .306 average as a team, while recording a .438 slugging percentage and a .396 on-base percentage. Brad Shankle leads the team with a .422 average, 13 RBI's and four home runs. Blake Gentry has added 12 RBI's while KC Pfister has added 11 RBI's. Southeastern Oklahoma's pitching staff has a 4.07 ERA and has only given up three home runs all year. David Cagle leads the staff with a 2-1 record and a 2.04 ERA, and has tossed the Savage storms only complete game, shutout of the season. Heath Wyatt, the LSC Preseason Pitcher of the Year has struggled with an 0-2 record, but does have three saves to go along with a 2.87 ERA.
First pitch Friday is slated for 2 p.m., while the doubleheader Saturday will start at 12 p.m.
