Series Information
Despite a two-game losing streak to the Aggies, Tarleton has dominated the series having won 21 out of the 31 contests played. The Texans are 12-2 against the Aggies inside Wisdom Gym, which includes last season's 71-62 loss to Cameron in Stephenville.

Head coach Lonn Reisman is 20-7 all-time when facing Cameron.

Last Time out for Texans
The Texans erased a 12-point first half deficit against Midwestern State on Wednesday, en route to an 83-81 road win over the Mustangs.

The Mustangs out-rebounded the Texans 43-33 and shot over 52 percent from three-point land, but the Texans overcame all of that and found a way to win inside a hostile D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

Chuck Guy scored a game-high 20 points and dished out fives assists, while Damion Clemons poured in a career-high 16 points and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds. Emmanueal Andrews and Tashawn Mabry provided key three-pointers down the stretch, but it was Clemons' lay-up with 2:01 left to play that made the difference in Tarleton extending its best start in program history to 14-0, but more importantly stay undefeated in LSC play at 3-0.

Scouting the Aggies
Cameron heads into Saturday's game with a season-high five game winning streak after downing A&M-Commerce 69-66 in Lawton, Okla., this past Wednesday evening.

The Aggies are just 2-1 on the road this season after picking up a 59-58 win over Eastern New Mexico on the road last time out. Cameron is just 18-28 on the road though, over the past five seasons.

The Aggies are averaging 71.1 points per game, which ranks 7th in the LSC. CU is fourth in the league with a 45.3 shooting percentage, but rank eighth overall with just a 32.0 percent effort from beyond the arc.

The Aggies are just seventh in the conference averaging 33.3 rebounds per game, but do rank first in the league in giving up just 31.6 boards to opposing teams.

Will Cook lead the Aggies in both scoring (15.9) and rebounds (7.0), while LSC preseason player of the year Craig Foster averages 14.5 points per game - seventh most in the conference. Foster leads the team with 63 assists and 23 steals, while Aaron Thompson leads the squad with 12 blocks on the year.

Texans in the NABC Poll
The Texans moved up to No. 6 in this week's NABC Top-25 Poll, giving Tarleton its highest ranking since a No. 5 ranking back on Feb. 14, 2012.

The Texans have been ranked inside the NABC Top-25 for 76 different weeks since making its first-ever appearance in the poll back on Dec. 17, 2002. Including this week, Tarleton has been ranked inside the top 10 for 44 different weeks overall.

Reisman's Hunt for 550
Head coach Lonn Reisman now has 544 career wins heading into this Saturday's contest in Stephenville. Reisman, who is in his 26th season with the Texans, now needs just seven more victories to earn his 550th career win. He would become just the 26th overall and ninth active NCAA Division II head coach to earn 550 wins. He would be the 83rd coach at both the D-1 and D-II levels to achieve the feat.

Reisman picked up victory No. 500 back on Jan. 21, 2012 when Tarleton defeated A&M-Commerce 78-53 in Stephenville.

Home Sweet Home
The Texans are on a current 17-game home winning streak that dates back to Jan. 2, 2013. The 17-game home win streak is now the fourth longest streak in school history.

Tarleton's longest home win streak was a 33-game win streak that began on Jan. 22, 2005 and ran through Jan. 27, 2007.

The Texans are now 354-64 (.847) overall inside Wisdom Gym under head coach Lonn Reisman.

Texans continue to extend Best Start In School History
Since becoming a senior college in 1961, Tarleton has never opened a season better than it has right now. The Texans extended its best start to a season with an 83-81 win over Midwestern State and are now a perfect 14-0. Prior to this season the Texans had just two 6-0 starts and had never been 7-0 to begin a season.

Texan Basketball Program breaks even
For the first time since Nov. 28, 1961, the Texan basketball program is a .500 club. The Texans, who improved to 724-724 all-time as a senior college, is .500 for the first time since its 1-1 record 52 years ago.

Tarleton had an overall record of 180-498 before head coach Lonn Reisman took over, but behind Reisman's overall record of 544-226, the Texans are finally back to being a .500 team once again.

A win on Saturday would push Tarleton's record to 725-724 all-time and would give the program its first-ever winning record.

No Bench Warmers here
The most glaring statistic from Wednesday's win at Midwestern State was Tarleton's ability to out-score MSU's bench, 52-23.

The Texan bench has outscored its 2013-14 opponents 606-317 heading into this weekend. Tarleton's bench is averaging 43.3 points per game - nearly 48 percent of Tarleton's 90.8 points per game.

Comeback Kings
Tarleton has trailed by as many as 12 points in the first half in two of its past three games, but the team has managed to overcome those deficits and end up winning the games.

The Texans trailed 28-15 against Angelo State before closing out the final eight minutes with a 23-8 run. Tarleton was trailing Midwestern State 28-16, but a 23-11 run tied the game 39-39. MSU would take a three-point lead into the break, but Tarleton opened the second have on a run en route to the two-point win.

Up next for the Texans
The Texans will hit the road for the third time in the past four games next week as the team travels to Canyon to face West Texas A&M on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at First United Bank Center.
