For the eighth time in nine games, Tarleton got on the board first with a kill shot from

After dropping the second set 25-14, Tarleton State turned things around in the third set and jumped out to an early 7-3 lead.
The Aggies cut the Tarleton lead to just one at 11-10 before a
Kaitlyn White kill shot started a 12-4 TexAnn run to force a Cameron timeout at 23-14. Out of the break, the TexAnns put the game away on an Aggie error and a kill from Alexander to take a 2-1 match lead.
In the fourth set, Tarleton continued to battle with a stubborn Cameron team through a tight fourth set – which was tied 13 times through 22-22. Cameron got three kills in the final four total points to take the set and force a fifth game.
Leading 6-5 in the fifth set,
Hailey Roberts landed a kill shot to start an 8-4 Tarleton run to set up a 14-9 game-point for the TexAnns.
Cameron answered back with five straight points to even the set at 14-14, but Roberts ended the game with back-to-back points to seal the game and the match.
