Tarleton Football returns to Memorial Stadium after a thrilling 38-34 victory against Texas A&M-Kingsville to take on Eastern New Mexico for homecoming at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Saturday's contest will be aired on the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The game will be broadcast live on KTRL (90.5 FM) with

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville 38-34 in one of the most exciting games in recent memory. The Texans overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit and scored on an
Alex Craig 13-yard touchdown pass to
Le'Nard Meyers with 1:10 left. On the ensuing drive, Tarleton stopped A&M-Kingsville at the 1 yard line as time expired to win their first game of the season. The win also ended Tarleton's third 0-4 start as an NCAA institution.

TARLETON vs EASTERN NEW MEXICO
Saturday marks the 24th all-time meeting between the Texans and Greyhounds with Tarleton trailing the series 10-13. Looking to even the home-field advantage, Tarleton is 4-5 all-time against the Greyhounds in Stephenville.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton and Eastern New Mexico's rivalry is over 50 years old, dating back to 1961. The Texans and Greyhounds first met in Black Water Draw, NM in 1961 and Tarleton lost 20-42, starting a 12-game Greyhound winning streak to begin the series through 2000. A 55-14 Tarleton win in Stephenville on Oct. 13, 2001 turned the tide of the series and was the first of 10 wins over the next 11 meetings.

TEXANS UNDER FOWLER
The Texans are now 28-29 under head coach
Cary Fowler and have one Lone Star Conference championship to their credit in his tenure. Fowler's first LSC championship is the third LSC championship for the Texans in school history. Fowler is 24-21 against LSC opponents and 4-8 overall against non-conference schools.

TEXANS ON HOMECOMING
Tarleton boasts a record of 30-24 in homecoming games since becoming a senior college in 1961. Last year's record-setting performance in an 80-14 win over Kingsville for Homecoming was the first Tarleton win on the day since 2011. The last time Tarleton won consecutive homecoming contests were 2008-09. The Texans are also 3-3 when playing ENMU for homecoming.

RECORD TRACKER: BLAKE BARNES
Entering his senior season,
Blake Barnes is making a case to go down alongside Tarleton Hall of Famer J.W. Boren as two of the top kickers in Tarleton history.
• PAT Att: With five PATs last weekend at Kingsville, Barnes moved into the all-time lead for extra points attempted with 150 in his career - passing Hall of Famer J.W. Boren (148). He is also the record holder for PATs made.
• FG Made: Entering Saturday's game with 45 career field goals, he is second all-time. Barnes is 15 field goals away from becoming the all-time leader and passing Boren (59).
• FG Att: Barnes now has attempted 62 field goals in his career to place him No. 2 all-time. He is 22 attempts shy of passing Boren (83) for the all-time lead.

RECORD TRACKER: LE'NARD MEYERS
Entering his senior season,
Le'Nard Meyers will look to etch his name into the all-time receiving records.
• Receptions: Meyers enters Saturday's game with 158 career receptions and is 31 catches shy of passing Hall of Famer Harlan Wunsch (188) for second all-time in school history.
• Receiving Yards: Meyers enters Saturday's game in need of 455 more yards to crack the top five all-time in school history. Jeremy Madkins (2003-06) holds the No. 5 position with 2,441 yards.
• Receiving Touchdowns: Meyers needs five (5) more touchdowns this season to move into the top-3 all-time in receiving scores. Will Moody (2000-03) is currently third all-time with 20 touchdown catches.
• 100-Yard Receiving Games: Meyers moved into third place all-time with eight 100-yard receiving efforts. The all-time record is 10 by Devin Guinn from 2006-09.
Clifton Rhodes III is second all-time with nine.

Daniel McCants is 18th in the nation in all-purpose yards per game with 167.

Le'Nard Meyers is 19th in the nation in receiving yards per game with 96.6 and 17th in the nation in receptions per game with 7.

Chase Varnado is 22nd in the nation and second in the LSC in tackles for loss per game at 1.8. The sophomore has nine tackles for loss in five games. Varnado is also second in the LSC in sacks with four.
