THE GAME
The TexAnns (17-2, 9-1) take on the Javelinas (17-5, 7-3) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Steinke Center in Kingsville.
 
ABOUT THE TEXANNS
Tarleton comes into Tuesday's game tied for first place in the Lone Star Conference and is playing its best volleyball of the season while in the midst of an 8-game winning streak. Tarleton has swept its opponent in five straight matches and six out of the last seven have resulted in sweeps. The TexAnns have 12 sweeps on the year and is one sweep away from matching last season's total. The TexAnns are a perfect 5-0 this season on the road. Hailey Roberts continues to lead the nation in kills per set at 5.42 while totaling 347 kills on the year. Jordyn Keamo is sixth in the nation in aces with 42 and 12th in assists per set at 11.36 (727 total). Defensively, Adrianna Knutson is third in digs per set at 4.69 and has 300 digs on the year while Hannah McManus is fourth in the Lone Star Conference in blocks per set with 1.05 and has 67 blocks total.
 
ABOUT THE JAVELINAS
A&M-Kingsville has won five straight matches and is tied for third in the LSC at 7-3. Kingsville has swept its last three matches and is 5-0 at home on the year. Krystal Faison leads the Javelina's with 247 kills and 32 aces. Casey Klobedans is the team leader in assists with 861. On the defensive side, Krystal Puente is tops in digs with 325 and Lexi Wick leads the team in blocks with 95.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Tarleotn defeated A&M-Kingsville 3-1 on Sept. 30 in Stephenville. The TexAnns hold the all-time series lead over the Javelina's at 26-20 and has won nine straight matches against TAMUK. Tarleton has won three straight games in Kingsville.
