"We went to Canyon to boost our marks on the national list," said head coach
Pat Ponder. "We did that and now we will wait until Tuesday to find out if we did enough."
Â
The TexAnns had five women competing Sunday and
Ashley Johnson highlighted the meet with a career best, breaking a 20-year old school record and finished first in the 400-meter dash with an NCAA provisional time of 55.19. Johnson broke a record that came in 1997, when Hope Ward ran 55.51.
