THE GAMES
Tarleton men's basketball will travel to Las Vegas for the Holiday Hoops Classic from Dec. 18-19. The Texans will take on Le Moyne on Tuesday at 4:15 CST and Rollins on Wednesday at 2 p.m. CST. All games will be played at the Doolittle Community Center.
THE BROADCAST
Each game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the Texans Byron Anderson will have the call for Tarleton basketball this season. The radio broadcast can be heard on KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville and surrounding areas or online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive.
LIVE STREAM
The Holiday Hoops Classic does not provide a live stream of the games at the Doolittle Community Center. Only live stats and radio will be available for the two games.
ABOUT TARLETON:
The Texans are 7-2 overall and 1-1 in the LSC on the season and are averaging 79.2 points per game while holding teams to 71.9 points. The Texans shoot 47.5 percent from the floor and 38 percent on 3-pointers. Tarleton has three players averaging double figures with Josh Hawley leading all players with 15.9 points. Corinthian Ramsey averages 14.6 points and Randall Broddie puts up 11.2 points a night. Hawley leads the team with 10.6 rebounds and has five double-doubles in nine games.
ABOUT LE MOYNE:
Le Moyne enters the tournament with a 6-3 record overall and 4-2 in the Northeast 10 Conference under 4th-year head coach Patrick Beilein. Patrick is the son of Michigan head coach John Beilein. The Dolphins average 73.4 points per game and hold teams to 67.7 points. Le Moyne shoots 43.9 percent from the floor and 32.6 percent on 3-pointers. Le Moyne has four players who average double figures in points, led by Kobi Nwandu's 18 points. It's the first career meeting between Tarleton and Le Moyne.
ABOUT ROLLINS:
Rollins enters the tournament with a 7-2 record overall and 1-2 in the Sunshine State Conference under 39th-year head coach Tom Klusman. The Tars average 82.2 points per game and hold teams to 76.3 points. Rollins shoots 48.3 percent from the floor and 37.1 percent on 3-pointers. Rollins has two players averaging double figures in points, led by Jakobi Bonner's 16.3 points. This is the third meeting between Tarleton and Rollins, with the two teams splitting the first two games which were also played in Las Vegas.
