THE GAMES
Tarleton men's basketball will play its fourth and fifth straight LSC road games as the Texans travel to Eastern New Mexico and No. 16 West Texas A&M on January 17-19. The Texans will play the Greyhounds in Portales, New Mexico on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 8:30 p.m. CST and then travel to Canyon to face the Buffs on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 4 p.m.
THE BROADCAST
Each game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the Texans Byron Anderson will have the call for Tarleton basketball this season. ABOUT TARLETON:
The Texans are 13-3 overall and 3-2 in the LSC on the season. The Texans are averaging 78 points per game while holding teams to an LSC-best 66.4 points. The Texans shoot 49.7 percent from the floor and 39.2 percent on 3-pointers. Tarleton has three players averaging double figures with Josh Hawley leading all players with 18 points. Corinthian Ramsey averages 13.5 points and Randall Broddie puts up 11.1 points a night. Hawley leads the LSC in scoring and rebounds with 10 rebounds and has seven double-doubles in 16 games.
ABOUT EASTERN NEW MEXICO:
Eastern New Mexico enters the weekend 6-8 on the season and 3-3 in the LSC. The Greyhounds have lost three straight, but are 2-0 at home. ENMU averages 74.2 points per game on 41 percent shooting and gives up 78.3 to opponents. ENMU has three players averaging double figures in points, led by Zach Parker's 11.1 points.

Tarleton and Eastern New Mexico are meeting for the 52nd time since they first played in 1993. The Texans lead the all-time series 43-8 and are 18-6 at Greyhound Arena.
ABOUT WEST TEXAS A&M:
West Texas A&M is 16-3 on the season and 5-1 in the LSC. The Buffs are ranked No. 16 in the latest NABC poll. WT averages 82.3 points on 45 percent shooting and also makes 9.7 3-pointers per game. They hold teams to 71.1 points per game. The Buffs have four players who average double figures in scoring, led by Ryan Quaid's 15.2 points and also 8.1 rebounds.
INSIDE THE SERIES: WT
Tarleton and West Texas A&M are meeting for the 52nd time in program history since they first played in 1994. WT holds a slim 26-25 lead over the Texans. The Texans have won 9 of the last 12 meetings. Tarleton is 6-16 in Canyon.
HAWLEY NAMED TO BEVO FRANCIS WATCH LIST
Small College Basketball has named Tarleton's Josh Hawley to the watch list for the 2019 Bevo Francis Award, an award given to the top small college men's basketball player in the country. Hawley currently leads the Lone Star Conference in scoring and rebounding with 18 points and 10 rebounds per game. He's the only player in the LSC to average a double-double and has an LSC-leading seven double-doubles in 16 games. The junior forward from Irving is setting career highs shooting the ball. Hawley is shooting 61 percent from the floor, 44 percent on 3-pointers and 71 percent on free throws. He also averages 1.9 steals and 0.9 blocks per game this season.
