LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton is coming off a 2-0 week with wins over University of Texas-Permian Basin and Western New Mexico.
 
Tarleton's Halloween-night offensive attack will haunt UT Permian Basin after the Texans landed kills at a rate of .364 in a sweep of the Falcons in Odessa Thursday night. Carmen Kinsey used all the tricks in her arsenal to treat herself to a team-high 12 kills.
 
Tarleton rebounded from a first-set loss to take the next three against Western New Mexico and win their 15th match of the season. Kersey led the team with 14 kills on a .481 hit percentage while Kinsey (13), Tuialii-Umi (12) and Strange (10) cracked double digits.
 
NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT
Tarleton Volleyball received votes in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll. The Texans are one of three LSC teams in the poll, joining Angelo State (17) and Texas A&M-Commerce (RV).
 
THE OPPONENT: SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA
The Texans and Savage Storm last met in 2014, where Tarleton swept Southeastern Oklahoma at home. The Texans lead the all-time series 14-6 and hold the advantage on the road, 3-2. The Savage Storm enter the match 2-22 on the season with a 1-12 mark in Great American Conference play. 
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton returns home next weekend for a set of LSC match-ups. First, the Texans will battle Texas A&M-International on Friday, November 8th at 6:00 p.m. On Saturday, Tarleton will face Texas A&M-Kingsville at 2:00 p.m. Saturday's matchup will be a Max Point Game (500 points) on the Texan Fan Rewards App.
